Process Flow of MCB Automatic Sealing Cap Machine
Ⅰ. Parts Feeding
· The MCB housings are automatically fed into the machine via a conveyor system.
· The sealing cap material, pre-arranged on spools of tape, is fed from the reels located on either side of the machine.
Ⅱ. Part Positioning
· The MCB housing is conveyed to the workstation and precisely positioned by a clamping jig.
· Sensors or a vision system detect the exact location of the screw holes on the MCB housing.
Ⅲ. Cap Placement
· The cap is peeled from the tape and picked up by a pneumatic cylinder or servo-driven placement unit.
· The unit precisely places the sealing cap onto the reserved screw hole of the MCB housing.
Ⅳ. Cap Pressing/Bonding
· A pressing mechanism (pneumatic or mechanical) applies force to the cap, ensuring a secure and flat bond to the MCB housing.
· This step may involve a heating element or adhesive activation to ensure a firm connection.
V. Quality Inspection
· Vision sensors or displacement detectors check for missing rivets, misalignment, orincomplete riveting.
· Defective parts are automatically rejected.
Ⅵ. Workpiece Transfer
· The completed MCB assemblies, now with the sealing caps in place, are transferred to the next process station via a conveyor or robotic arm for tasks such as functional testing or packaging.
